This luxurious catamaran, from the drawing board
of world-famous designer Chris White, is offered for fully crewed

THE CREW
Over the past few years, Alan and Liz Weeks have established a
well-deserved reputation as one of the finest yacht crews around
and are highly respected throughout the industry.

Alan is originally from South Africa and, after
a career in geological exploration, he managed a large construction
company before finally returning to his first passion – sailing.
Alan has been involved with the oceans since childhood – his
father was a professional diver and passed a love of the seas to
Alan. Since earning his Yacht Master’s Offshore Licence, he
has logged tens of thousands of miles in the North and South Atlantic,
the Indian and Pacific Oceans, and the Mediterranean and Caribbean
seas. More than 15 years ago, he sailed into St Vincent and the
Grenadines on his 40-foot sloop and, later, owned and chartered
the well-known 47-foot catamaran “Duppy Conqueror” together
with Elizabeth. He enjoys free diving, surfing, wake boarding and
kite boarding. Although he has an adventurous spirit, the safety
and comfort of guests is his primary concern.
Liz, your first mate and Chef/Hostess, was born
in Jamaica and moved to South Florida as a teenager. She excelled
as a professional cosmetologist and has a natural ability to pamper
others with an artistic flair. Both Alan and Liz enjoy fine dining,
so food on CERULEAN will be delicious and beautifully presented.
Liz’s cuisine is diverse and international, having been developed
through her extensive travels. Her other interests include exploring
above and below the sea, as well as the tranquillity of photography
and water-colour painting.
TESTIMONIALS (Just a few
of very many…)
We are two of the Metzgen party just returned from
the Duppy Conqueror. I'm sure they will reply as well, but we want
to add our very warm appreciation of the holiday. All the arrangements
went absolutely fine and the boat and its crew were beyond our wildest
dreams.
The boat itself was comfortable, both sailing and
when at anchor. But what made the experience extra special was the
way that Alan and Liz looked after us. Liz is a wonderful cook and
produced a succession of delicious meals which we wolfed down with
great delight. They are both marvellous guides to the islands, the
seas and the wildlife. Alan is a superb skipper who never motored
when he could sail, never cut a corner when he could show us something
better, and took us to isolated spots where we snorkelled, swam,
walked and talked with enormous pleasure. He even conjured up a
whale for us.
In short, they calculated exactly correctly where
we wanted to go, what we wanted to see and do, and what we wanted
to eat. We couldn't have been happier and can't wait to do the whole
thing again.
Many thanks for your assistance in the arrangements;
it was a wonderful experience.
With best wishes,
Lord & Lady Robert Gavron, London, UK (returning
for their 4th charter with Alan and Liz in March 2010, this time
aboard CERULEAN)
I know I speak for our group when I say that we
were very impressed with the boat but especially with Alan and Liz
for their professionalism, quality of food, attitude on and on and
on. They are special people.
Maurice Skoropad, Barbados, West Indies
“We had a brilliant time - Alan and Liz are really lovely.
They welcomed us aboard and were very professional and by the time
we left we were all old friends and my husband is talking of booking
his next trip!
Alan is so competent and knowledgeable that he puts every customer
fully at ease and Liz ensures you don’t have to worry about
a thing. It’s all so very relaxing. And the food was just
wonderful. They really work to make their customers happy and it
really was appreciated by us all. Liz even managed to satisfy Tom's
eating requirements and that is a tough order for a growing lad
of 6'2 and 240 lbs who is a fussy eater!
We paid around £ 30,000 (all included) for a family holiday
at Sandy Lane Hotel in Barbados for nine days followed by paying
around £ 6,000 (all included - even the champagne...) for
nine days aboard the Duppy Conqueror- and we all preferred Duppy
Conqueror - for service, for relaxation, for fun, for adventure.
The whole experience was fantastic value for the money.”
