The Crew
Ron Sturrock
Ron has spent most of his life at sea and has been round the world several times on commercial vessels. For the past 30 years he has been a Captain in the British Merchant Navy - rest assured you could not be in safer hands. He likes to spend his spare time socialising, swimming, scuba diving and skydiving. Ron's laid-back, unflappable, but very professional style will immediately put everyone at ease.
Karen Fraser
Karen's first taste of sailing was when she sailed across the Atlantic on a small yacht. She now has almost 20,000 miles, including 3 transatlantic crossings, under her belt. Karen is a keen and adventurous cook and loves to see people enjoy their food. In her free time she likes to relax with a good book or music, try out local restaurants and scuba diving. Her easy- going nature and love of entertaining make her an ideal hostess.
